INFO FOR AUTHORS/SPEAKERS

 

  FINAL CAMERA READY PAPER SUBMISSION

 

All accepted papers must be prepared as indicated below and final camera ready versions must be uploaded to IEEE Conference eXpress site so that they can be published in the proceedings.


CRITICAL: All the following steps must be completed no later than 3 March 2006 noon (EST). If you fail to comply, the paper will be dropped from the program.


 

STEP 1: REVISE YOUR PAPER:
 

 

Please read the reviews and follow the reviewers recommendations for revising your final paper. When you are done with revising, please print out your paper and proofread it. For assistance in formatting your paper, go to: http://www.ieee.org/conferencepublishing


Note: Preferred maximum page length is 6 pages, including figures. However, ICC 2006 will accept papers up to 8 pages in length. Accepted papers that are longer than 6 pages will be charged an overlength fee of $100 for 7 pages or $200 for 8 pages. If your paper is longer than 6 pages please complete the Overlength Form and remit it with payment. The Overlength Form can be found on this site under the “INFORMATION FOR AUTHORS/SPEAKERS tab.

STEP 2:

REGISTER FOR THE CONFERENCE:

 

 

At least one author must register for the conference by 3 March 2006 noon (EST) as the presenter. ComSoc policy states that all accepted ICC 2006 technical paper presenters must register at the FULL or LIMITED rate. For authors presenting multiple papers, one FULL or LIMITED registration is valid for up to three papers. For registration information, go to: https://icc2006.org/index/registration.html


When you are done with the registration, you will be given a Registration Code, which will be needed to upload your paper in the following step. If you are registering by fax, please allow 3 working days to receive your "Registration Code”

STEP 3:

UPLOAD YOUR SOURCE FILE FOR CONVERSION TO PDF:

 

 

(Note: Please do not go to EDAS. EDAS has reviewed your paper and you are done with EDAS. IEEE Conference eXpress site will be used to upload your final camera ready papers.) You will need to create a new account to upload your paper at IEEE Conference eXpress. You will need:

 

Conference ID: Use icc2006 for this conference.

Your registration code: Given at the end of Step 2

Your Paper Reference Code: 2-cahracter Symposium code followed by 2-digit  session number followed by 2-digit paper number, e.g., GS0103 for the third paper in Session 01 of the General Symposium.

STEP 4:

SUBMIT YOUR COPYRIGHT TRANSFER:

 

 

After you upload your final paper to IEEE Conference eXpress, a link will appear Submit Copyright that will enable you to complete the IEEE eCopyright form (electronic copyright form). When you receive your confirmation email, you will not need to fax or mail this form.
